REFLECTIVE LOGS
A 'reflective' log is where you look back at what you've been doing in college (or at work..etc so long as it's relevant to your course). You then post an entry telling us how you feel things are going. Is there something you particulary enjoyed or was there something you felt was too difficult? Tell us why you felt this way and what could be done to make things better.You do the 'reflection' bit in your own blog, we can then access the information.
GUIDANCE
Guidance covers many different issues but here on the blog we want to let you access useful things like when 'bursary' (student funding) office is open, who to contact in student info if you have a problem...etc.During your timetabled guidance slot you will not only get to interact with this blog, but you'll get a chance to create your own blog. You will also work through an on-line programme called 'Well-at-College' which will deal with issues related to employment and to the 'real' world outside college.The first thing you need to do though is make sure you have created a college computer account!
